Folding Stars

Hello there my friends. Things have been quite of busy the past week with the moving and cleaning up the old apartment, but now the old apartment is 99% done and i’m happy that part is over. The move had it’s side-effects, due to lots of lifting boxes and stuff my right shoulder, which was hurting a while back (if you remember) and got better; is now hurting real bad and i’ve been on sick leave two nightshifts now and i will stay home for the next nigth as well. If it’s still hurting tomorrow i’m seeing a doctor.

Onto other news. In case you follow my last.fm stats you notice that last week was pretty much dominated by “The Almost”; that’s simply beacuse i really love their new album, entitled ‘Monster Monster’. And due to this find i’ve also listened a lot to their debut album ‘Southern Weather’. Both are such incredible albums, really easylistening alternative rock with enough twists and interesting lyrics that keeps you wanting to put on the albums over and over again. Another band that’s getting lots of ‘airtime’ is american political pop-punk band (what punk band isn’t political?) ‘Rise Against’. I’m a huge fan of good pop-punk, songs that you know are hits the moment you hear them, but yet you don’t get tired of them. Brilliant!

The Almost – Southern Weather

First Night

After a long and physically (dead) hard day i have finally set camp in my new apartment. Been up since 7.50 am so i’m very tired and wont be sitting here late, i’m gonna watch a movie now i’ve been wanting to see for a long time, it’s called “American Gangster”, have some movie goody-goody snacks (no, not popcorn this time, no microwave here… yet). This apartment was bigger than i remembered and i just love the kitchen here, it’s freshly (completely) renovated. I will post (more) photos when i get the rest of my stuff (some tables and a bed and so on… and on… and on). But now onto my sofabed for some Denzel Washington. Good night everybody!

Last Night

Hey there. I guess you know what this post is about, maybe. I’m spending the last evening in this apartment and i couldn’t help but pull some cables out of my packing boxes to get my computer working and online, i’m such a nerd. I first had everything on the floor but that was very uncomfortable so i quickly put the screen, keyboard, mouse and speakers on the table and logged onto Spotify. For Quite Some Time

One more post concerning the upcoming drumvids, i haven’t got anything filmed yet due to this weeks packing and stuff and i also packed my camera already. The moving is on sunday and all next week i’m working evening shifts, which basically means i’m away most of the (atleast the essential part of the day; between 1pm – 11pm) and when i’m home i have to work on my apartment. All is very hectic at the moment. I will keep you updated, when things start happening on this (drum video) front.

Helpless

Hey there. This is my second mobile phone update in my journal and i have a good reason for this time. As most of you (friends, family, relatives) know i’m moving this weekend and i have been trying to pack but i always end up on the computer so now the computer is packed and weirdly enough i get stuff done. Lucky me i have mobile internet with messenger and facebook so i’m not totally out on what is happening around me. But now back to packing and cleaning. Have a good day everyone!
